Every time I hear the name "Flowers for Algernon" i think of an old movie trailer for some b rated movie where the speaker is speaking slowly and with a low voice. It's weird. It's only a very high contrast duo-tone image, it adds a weird lighting effects on all... If it's shot right.

Flowers for Algernon is a book about a man named Charlie who has an experimental procedure performed on himself to raise his extremely low IQ. Algernon himself is actually a lab mouse.
My favorite chapter is the one where Charlie learns the comma.
